Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins, also known as Antonietta Gonzalez-Collins in both the US and Mexico, is an American Mexican sportscaster. She works for ESPN and works as the SportsCenter anchor for news. Since 2016, Collins has was a part of ESPN. She is the daughter television reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is native to two languages. When she was just nine, Collins's ability to converse in two languages allowed her to get the job she wanted in Miami as a production assistant for Univision. In this role she was given the chance to work with national producers, such as Nuestra Belleza Latina. Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. It was the CBS subsidiary located in St. Petersburg hired her in the following year as the sports reporter. In 2009 she moved to Rio Grande Valley to work as a journalist for KNVO TV 48 Univision & Fox2 News. In 2009 she made the move to Rio Grande Valley, Texas and became a journalist for KNVO 48 Univision and Fox2 News. She also filled in for sports anchors and weather forecasters. Deportes 23 was Univision Dallas affiliate where she took on more responsibility. She did pieces on MLB's ALDS ALCS and World Series the Dallas Cowboys the NBA postseason and the NBA Finals FC Dallas and the Dallas Stars. Additionally, she was host of the local Univision 23 sports show Accion Deportiva Extra. She also served as the anchor for sports on Despierta America Deportes morning show. The same job was held as a sports anchor for Primer Impacto magazine and Contacto Deportivo for the UniMas Network. Antonietta Collins was born in the city of Veracruz, Mexico. They eventually settled in Mexico City and she was born there on the 22nd of November in 1985. There is an older sister. In 1992 her family left Mexico and relocated to Miami. After a short time, her father split from her mother. She then remarried in 1995 a naval architect called Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away of kidney carcinoma in the year 2006. The summer vacation that she stayed with her sister living in Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl had secured the job. Antonietta who was in high school having a clear idea of where she would like her life to be like, visited Mount Union University to see what she could get out of the college. It was a beautiful campus and provided the education she sought. She graduated from high school and enrolled into media school at the university. Professor Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM, and was part of her class, formed an ongoing friendship with her. Mark Bergmann was the person who instilled her confidence and whose passion for Journalism deeply touched her. In turn, she was determined to exceed his expectations, never letting him down.
